LAW OF CIRCULATION.
(from the lens of yogic philosophY)
1. Abundance and Non-Attachment (Vairagya)
In Yoga, we are taught that The Universe is Abundant by Nature.
ABUNDANCE is not a commodity or material possession; it is the Flow of Energy, the Eternal Presence of Consciousness, and the Nature of The Universe Itself.
To access this abundance, first we relinquish attachment to the Idea of Scarcity. The paradox is that to receive more, we must first feel that there is already more than enough. This is where the practice of vairagya (detachment) comes in.
Detachment doesn’t mean rejecting the material world or not desiring growth, but it means releasing our clinging to those desires or possessions. We acknowledge that we are not the "owners" of anything in the material world; rather, we are stewards or vessels for the energy that flows through us.
Through detachment, we create a mental space that affirms the abundance of the universe. When we let go of the tight grip on what we already have, we open ourselves to receive even more because we are no longer limiting the flow of prana with our attachment.
2. The Space of Empty Potential (Shunya)
Yoga philosophy often speaks of shunya (emptiness), which can be seen as the potential space in which all things manifest. This is like the idea of creating a "vacuum" for something to come into existence. In the world of prana, nothing exists in isolation; everything is interdependent.
To attract more into life… first, make room for it. Creating space doesn’t just mean physical space but also mental and emotional openness. Letting go of the past and what no longer serves us is a necessary part of Spiritual Evolution.
We Create the Conditions for New Opportunities, Experiences, and Abundance to Flow into our Lives by Relinquishing Outdated Attachments, Old Identities, and Outdated Thought Patterns.
We are creating a fertile ground where the seeds of our desires can germinate.
3. Trust in the Divine Flow (Ishvara Pranidhana)
The key to releasing attachment is to Trust the Universe and the Divine Intelligence that governs all things. This principle is known as Ishvara Pranidhana, or the Surrender to a Higher Power. This is not surrender in the sense of resignation, but a deep trust that the universe is inherently good, and it knows what is best for us in every moment.
If we are truly Aligned with The Law of Circulation, we let go of the illusion of control. We trust that the universe, which is infinite and abundant, will always provide for us what we need when we are ready to receive it. Trusting the Divine Flow is an act of profound surrender, but it is also a necessary act to bring the Law of Circulation into action. Without this trust, we cling to what we already have out of fear or insecurity, which creates stagnation rather than flow.
4. Equanimity (Upeksha) and the Eternal Flow
Yoga also teaches the importance of Equanimity (upeksha), which is maintaining a balanced mind regardless of external circumstances. Whether we are experiencing abundance or lack, we seek to maintain an Evenness of Mind, understanding that everything is temporary and in constant flux.
When we practice Equanimity, we no longer fear loss or feel desperate for gain. The desire to accumulate or hoard vanishes because we trust the continuous, Cyclical Nature of Life. In this State of Mind, we naturally let go of things, knowing that what is meant for us will come and what is not, will pass. This makes the act of giving, whether it’s energy, love, or material things, part of the natural flow of life, where nothing is wasted and everything is recycled in The Cosmic Circle.
In summary:
In Yoga Philosophy, the Law of Circulation is not just about giving and receiving material wealth or success, but it encompasses The Whole Flow of Life Energy (prana). By practicing Detachment, we release our clinging and open up the space for New Blessings to come into our lives. When we Let Go of Fear and Trust the Divine Flow, we can Move with Grace through the cycles of life, knowing that Every Moment is an Opportunity to Align with the Eternal Circulation of Energy.
The Practice of Yoga encourages us to step into this Flow without Resistance. We Give Freely, Receive Generously, and Trust in The Divine Intelligence that Ensures the Cycle Continues Harmoniously.
